For those of us anxious to have a Whole Foods in closer proximity to home, we will have to wait a little longer.
The Kennesaw City Council has delayed a vote on a zoning change and variances for the $150 million mixed-use development project at Cobb and Barrett Parkways. Fuqua Acquisitions, the developer, asked to amend the project plan to waive vsome variances, add 260 multi-family homes and slightly reduce the amount of retail space (from 440,000 sq/ft to 340,000 sq/ft).
The next City of Kennesaw council meeting is scheduled for February 16, 2015.
